Schluter Projects
Here is gallery of some of the jobs where we have used Schluter Projects. We really believe that the systems created by Schluter Systems are the best in the industry. They work, plain and simple.
Sharon and Ed Campbell
Ed and Sharon Campbell of Charlotte, NC got a face-lift for their kitchen. A tired sheet vinyl was replaced with a 16"x16" porcelain tile, and a poorly installed backsplash was removed and replaced with a modern color-coordinated one. Schluter Ditra was applied over the slab to provide our "Crack-Free Guarantee" and custom inlays adorn the floor and bar knee wall.
Mike and Kristine Turco
Schluter Ditra installed over plywood substrate. The Turco's never have to worry about thier bathroom floor tile cracking. The entire bath has Schluter Systems products with the Kerdi Shower System in the shower, Ditra on the floor, and edge protection profiles in both doorways.
Donna and Ed Lockhart
Salisbury, North Carolina residents, Donna and Ed Lockhart, chose to go with Schluter Ditra to protect thier investment. Thier kitchen got a make over, removing two layers of vinyl sheet flooring, and replacing it with a beautiful 13"x13" glazed porcelain tile set on a diagonal. For literally pennies more per square foot, they made sure thier tile will last a lifetime.
Pelican Builders
Ditra and Kerdi combine to make a water-proof counter top assembly. This 20"x20" tile is safe and sound resting above a layer of Schluter Ditra. Plus, combined with Kerdi, it's entirely water-proof. In most tile assemblies, if moisture were to get beneath the tile, it would spell big trouble. Combining Ditra and Kerdi ensure that moisture is stopped in its tracks so that it can't damage the wood substrate.
Dominic and Laura Morlando
Installing stone or tile directly over a concrete slab is a risky choice. If the slab cracks, the directly bonded tile will too. Repairing these issues can be difficult and expensive. With Schluter Ditra, you don't have to worry about cracks appearing in your beautiful stone or tile. Ditra is an Uncoupling Membrane. It allows in-plane movement to happen beneath it and won't permit it to transfer through to the tile assembly above. No movement means no cracks. No cracks means beautiful tile. Beautiful tile means happy customer.
