This kitchen renovation turned out great.  The random pattern on the floor is a nice contrast to the simple grid pattern for the counter tops and backsplash.  The counter tops had a layer of Schluter Ditra applied prior to installing the tile.  The chiselled edge of the tile adds to the rustic european look of this kitchen.
