The Campbell Kitchen
Sharon and Ed Campbell needed a little help for their tired kitchen.  They installed new counter tops and fresh paint.  While the painter was there, he convinced the Campbells that he could install a ceramic backsplash for them, as well.  Unfortunately, a painter is not a tile installer.  The job was, sad to say, an amateur attempt at setting tile and didn't add much visual impact or value to their home.  Together we devised a plan to remove and replace the tired vinyl sheet flooring and poorly installed backsplash.  Sharon and Ed took the family on a much needed vacation, and when they returned, the transformation was complete.

Mike,

Attached are some photos of our kitchen during construction and once the paint and the counter tops were finished.

The more I look at the kitchen, the more I love it. I was absolutely right to trust your artistic instinct and let you go free with the design.  I really like what you did to add those little extra touches above the window, along the window frame and along the backsplash. The grey grout was the perfect choice as it pulls all of the colors together with the counter tops.  Not to mention, it'll be easy to keep clean.  I know you worked more than just over time to finish the job by the time we returned from vacation (by the way, I need to get my house key and alarm fab back from you) and I appreciate the fact your wife and child didn't get to see you last week!

A very pleasant surprise, in addition to how fabulous the kitchen looks, is how well you cleaned up.  A friend of mine had a minor repair done to her bathroom and she was horrified at the dust and debris left behind. I was prepared for major cleaning and dusting when I returned.  It was wonderful to come home and find everything cleaned up.

When I was at the mall we hired an interior decorator to do our display windows.  She was the one who suggested the counter top color and wall colors to me and helped me get started on my kitchen project. I'm going to take some photos and send them to Suzie along with your name and number.  I also passed the book you left onto my friend Heather for her basement. She wants to do her bar area now that saw the finished product last night too.

Thank you so much!  I really do love my kitchen!
